It’s the “Dead of Winter.” The #DeadofWinter reminds me of that time I was snowed in over the #AlaskanRange in a Moose Hunting Camp whilst filming the reveal of a moose hunting lodge for the DIY Network’s season finale of “Building Alaska” (Season 5) which DIY Network billed as “Our Most Dramatic Finale Ever.” On a side note, my fellow crew members all opted to leave prior to the snow storm. They were done. (I don’t fault them for that nor disagree with their decisions) Thus— I had no choice but to manage cameras, drone, media, and batteries— solo— meanwhile camping in a leaky outfitter tent during the 2014 winter’s first blizzard and 0°F temperatures.
